What it's all about

The Junior Cadet Program is about giving an opportunity for 9th-12th graders, or ages between 15-18, a deep dive into the education and training of a career firefighter. This opportunity is not only FREE, but also allows students in 9-12 grades to explore different career paths offered in the fire service, create friendships with similar interest, and a chance to expand into further opportunities that Donnelly Fire Department has to offer. 

The program schedule is going to be held within the span of 9 weeks every summer starting in June. Topics like fire hose, search and rescue, forcible entry, and PPE will be taught. All activities are hands-on learning opportunities, and focuses on teamwork, confidence, and overall fun! What's your summer story going to be? Make a summer to remember and apply now!
